Chandipur Beach is nestled about 16 km from Balasore, Orissa. One of the serene beach resorts, Chandipur Beach is situated at a distance of 230km and 200 from Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack, respectively. This makes the connectivity of the Chandipur Beach to cities like Kolkata, Guwahati, and Chennai comfortable through Balasore via road.
The beach has a special charm about itself with its Casuarina trees and sand dunes. It is popular for the reason that the sea recedes every day by 5km into the horizon with the ebb and flow of water. Generally, this is an alarming situation; however, it is a common sight in the Chandipur Beach of Orissa. While retreating, the sea leaves behind starfishes in red, conches, seashells and drift woods, which can be collected as souvenirs.

Besides several attractions, a dance festival is a must-watch while on a travel to Chandipur Beach. It comprises various dance forms such as Ghoda Nacha, Chhau and Sambalpuri performed by professional troupes.
