Khangchendzonga National Park, Sikkim

Khangchendzonga National Park, Sikkim is located in the northern part of Sikkim, adjoining Nepal. Spread over an area of 850 square kilometer, this national park is surrounded by the mighty peaks of the Khanchenjunga. You can find glaciers and steep peaks surrounding the park. The forest cover was established on August 26, 1977. The Biosphere Reserve area of the park is a major attraction that offers bountiful of scenic beauty.

You can go for trekking along the Khangchendzonga National Park, Sikkim. The best time to visit this national park is April to May and August to October. You need to take special permission to get inside the park from the State Chief Wildlife. Bagdogra is the nearest airport, which you can avail while visiting the Khangchendzonga National Park, Sikkim. Jalpaiguri is the nearest railway station, which facilitates the travelers coming to this park.
