The wild lives that can be found at their natural habitat in this forest include Assam Roofed turtle, Golden Langur, Hispid Hare, Pygmy Hog and the Asiatic Wild Buffalo. Spot the endangered species like Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur and pygmy hog. You can find 55 mammals, 50 reptiles and 3 amphibians in the park.

If you are a bird lover, then you can find numerous of them flying in the sky of Manas National Park, Assam. There are large numbers of endangered Bengal Florican present in this park. More than 380 species of birds are found here. Some of the birds, which are commonly found at Manas National Park are black-tailed crake, red-headed trogon, swamp francolin, wreathed and pied harrier, marsh and jerdon's babblers, rufous-rumped and bristled grassbirds, rufous-necked hornbill, laughingthrush, hodgson's bushchat, rufous-vented finn's weaver and ibisbill.

It is because of its location Indo-Gangetic and Indo-Malayan, it has Sub-Himalayan mountain forest. At the core zone, a total of 543 plants species are found in the last count.
