Time of Celebration of International Paragliding Festival

The International Paragliding Festival is held mostly during March and April and it’s just been two years since this event started. Arranged by Kerala Tourism and the Adventure Tourism of Kerala, the Paragliding Festival in Kerala draws a number of international tourists as well people from all over India.

Description of International Paragliding Festival

A number of paragliding enthusiasts come from all over India to Kerala for the International Paragliding Festival in Kerala. The International Paragliding Festival is held mostly in Vagamon. Situated at the border of Kottayam and Idukki districts, Vagamon is a hill station which has green valleys and mountains dotted with tea plantations. On these hilly regions of Vagamon, the International Paragliding Festival is held.

In the year 2007, on the month of March the International Paragliding Festival was arranged in Vagamon Hills. Paragliding is slowly gaining popularity in US, the UK and Asia. International Paragliding Festival in Kerala attracts a number of adventure tourists to Kerala during this time.
