This day of Diwali is called the New Year day or Bestavarsh. The Fourth day of Diwali is called Padwa or VarshaPratipada. On this day Govardhan Puja is performed. The fifth day is the bhai duuj. Diwali is the last day of financial year as per the tradition, Diwali is considered to be the last day of the business financial year.
