Anjuna is a small village in North Goa and Anjuna Beach, Goa is approximately situated 18 km away from Panaji, the capital of Goa. After being drenched in the beauty of the Anjuna Beach and try to bargain in the flea market at Anjuna Beach, Goa, there is the glorious Albuquerque Mansion built in 1920, the Mascarenhas Mansion and the Chapora Fort, which are simply treat to the eyes. The Mascarenhas Mansion is an architectural amusement with rich and classic balconies. The mansion has some of the premium stained glass flowery engravings. The Chapora Fort offers a splendid view of the nearby Anjuna and Vagator beaches. The fort has been well maintained except for a few interesting ruins.

The nearest airport is at Dabolim, which is 29 km away from Panaji and 47 km from Anjuna. The nearest railway station is at Karmali, 11 km away from Panaji and 29 km from Anjuna. There are buses which ply every hour to Anjuna from Mapusa. For tourists arriving from Mumbai, Mapusa is the jumping-off place for the northern beaches. In Goa, the tourists can also hire bikes whose are charged approximately between Rs 250 to Rs 400 per day. This facility helps one to cover all the beaches according to your convenience.
