Communicating to the Cotigao wildlife sanctuary, goa is thus not a major problem. Any of the buses running South on NH17 to Karwar via Chaudi takes you within 2km of the sanctuary. For the more adventurous lot, a written permission is required for an overnight stay at the forest. You can either stay in the watch tower or even at a small guest house of the forest department.

The Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, Goa was established in 1969 to protect a remote and vulnerable area of forest lining the Goa Karnataka border. It's a must watch site at Goa. Housing multi-layered forest with rare plants and trees that umbrellas the sunlight, it is earth in its primitive form.
