How to get to Rohtang

The ideal way to reach Rohtang is by road from Manali. Drive 51 kilometers north on the NH-21. Buses and cabs are easily available. You can expect the roads to be uneven but the views along the way are breathtaking.

The nearest railway station to Manali is Joginder Nagar (50 kilometers). Since this is a narrow gauge railway station, your options are limited. Chandigarh (310 kilometers) has the closest broad gauge railway station and international airport. Another option is to fly to Bhuntar airport and board a vehicle to Manali.
