The only "living" haveli hotel in Jodhpur - Pal Haveli, Jodhpur is located centrally near the Clock Tower on the main street in the city. Built by Thakur of Pal in 1847, this noble home has been inhabited by the noble family for more than 150 years. Pal Haveli has been fascinating western guests since 1887, when Edwin Lord Weeks sketched the mansion for Harper's Magazines.
