    City Info :
Dona Paula Beach has been named and made famous after Dona Paula Menzes, the daughter of a viceroy in colonial India, who jumped off the cliff here when her parents forbade her to marry a local fisherman Gasper Dias. The remains of Dona Paula is entombed in the Cabo Chapel of the Raj Bhawan and some say she rises from her shroud on moonlit nights to mourn her fate.
