Government Guest House Kollam

The Government Guest House, Kollam was built by the Divan of the former state of Travancore. 3 kilometers away from the Kollam bus stop, this 48 acre land by the banks of Ashtamudi Lake is blessed with exquisite trees and lush foliage.

This 200 year old Government Guest House in Kollam was once a place of power as the British residents resided here. What remains of this historic building is the majestic building and colonial British architecture. The symmetry and the artistry of the building still remain untainted.

The rooms are unimaginably spacious with the ceilings reaching up to 15 feet. The motifs used on the ceiling and the fans are preserved as they were when the building was constructed.
