Situated at the banks of Tawi River, Hotel Hari Niwas Palace is a majestic structure. Hari Niwas Palace was the residence of Maharaja Hari Singh and now is looked after by his grandson Maharaj Kumar Ajatshatru Singh and daughter-in-law Kumari Ritu Singh. Hotel Hari Niwas Palace was converted to a heritage hotel in 1990. Nestled among the verdant greens and majestic Himalayas, Hotel Hari Niwas Palace is the only luxury hotel in the entire state of Jammu & Kashmir.

The Hari Niwas Palace has well supportive 40 luxurious rooms including 4 suites namely Rajmata suite, Maharaja suite, Maharani suite, Yuvraj suite and Rajkumari suite. All rooms have been well furnished with private balconies which offer a kaleidoscopic view of the mountains and river valley.
