Cheruthuruthy (Kerala Kalamandalam)
Cheruthuruthy is north of Thrissur, 29km away near the Shoranur Railway Junction. It is home of the traditional dance form Kathakali. It is an academy that offers rigorous training to Katahkali dance performers. Mohiniyattam, Koodiyattam and Ottam Thullal are the other dance forms that are offered in the academy.
