Sheesh Mahal was built by built by Faujdar Khan a governor of Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar in 1732 and named after the Mughal emperor.
Once a king's palace it is now left to the monkeys and parrots to look after.
Baoli at Farrukh Nagar Haryana is an architecture wonder. This well looks insignificant from outside but once inside the place expands like a Palace. It was used as a bathing place by the Royal women. There used to be an underground tunnel that connects this well to the Sheesh Mahal Palace, which is at least half a km distance.
