We at Indian Holiday welcome our client's feedback. A letter of appreciation from one of our satisfied clients is shown below:
Hello Indian Holiday,
I am sending this note of thank you for the wonderful time my wife Susan
and I had in India. From the beginning everything your staff put together
for us was first rate. It all started when my wife sent out a number of e-mail
inquires to India travel companies, the response from Ms Pooja Mehta was
very professional and informative. This first response was the deciding
factor for us to continue dealing with your company. When my wife in
further e-mails mentioned that I was interested in bird watching, the information
we received back was too good to be true. Apparently at that time Mr. Suneel
Rao got involved with planning the wildlife watching part of the vacation. As
the e-mails back and forth progressed our anticipation increased.
On our arrival to India we were treated as if we had been mistaken for
visiting royalty. We never had to be concerned about anything. The two
drivers we had for the trip were always ready at the appointed times. The
itinerary of wildlife viewing and seeing the cultural side of India was
very nicely interwoven to accommodate the interests of myself and my wife.
The accommodations that were booked for us were wonderful!!! My wife had
asked for pleasant and interesting hotels, and we were provided with
Heritage Hotels and Farm Stays that allowed us to see the Indian culture
and the wildlife. The planning of hotels allowed the maximum use of the
mornings birdwatching before the days travel resumed.
The Guides that we were assigned for wildlife viewing were "THE" best
guides I have ever had the pleasure to be with. On our second day in India
we went to Sultanpur wetlands and Bhindawas lake where we met Suresh C.
Sharma, what a delightful man. He shared his knowledge of the area and the
birds to me and my wife, as if we were the best of friends. We even made
plans to meet with him on our last day in India to visit some areas in New
Delhi to find some birds that we would not find in our travels.
From there we traveled to the foothill town of Naini Tal where we met
Manoj Sharma, We spent eight days with Manoj and I wish it could have been
eight months. He made every aspect of birding in the foothills trouble
free for us. He took care of meal planning in the field with the manager of our
hotels, he made sure our driver was used to full advantage for birding.
And his knowledge of all the birds in the area was unbelievable. His attention
to detail for the visiting birder was wonderful. As soon as a new bird was
sighted his method of getting me to focus on the important details and
working through the field marks left no doubt when you went to the field
guides to confirm your sighting.
We traveled to Keoladeo National Park where we were met by Ansar Khan,
another bird guide that was a real treat to be around. His knowledge of
the park and the wildlife could not be beat as he was raised in the park. He
shared his knowledge of every aspect in the park, taking me and my wife
out for night viewing of the animals of the park. He had us come to his home
for a slide show of photos he has taken in the park. I would recommend anyone
going to this park to enlist his services. Our arrangements here included
having our driver leave in the morning with our luggage enroute to
Ranthambore because of the long drive, Allowing me another half day of
birding and then Ansar arranged a new driver to take us to the train
station for a easy three hour ride.
When we got on the train we were met by Suneel Rao who came equipped with
more bird books and information for me to use on our travels through
Rajasthan. He arranged for us to have jeep safaris in the park with guide
Subhash Gautam. Mr. Gautam is unbelievable in his abilities to think like
the tigers we were looking for. He was so keyed into the movement and
sound of the other wildlife that we saw tigers on three out of four safari
trips. He also could pick out birds while were bouncing down a dirt road in the
jeep.
The rest of our trip was in the desert of Rajasthan looking at forts
and temples. We were provided with English speaking guides in all the
cities. Every thing that we could possibility want was taken care of. I
would recommend Indian Holiday Travel for anyone wanting to see any aspect
of India. And as for wildlife viewing the care taken to let me experience
India's wildlife with guides that are totally involved with and
knowledgeable of India's diverse wildlife was nothing short of amazing. I
met other birders from around the world on their first trips to India that
were "NOT" getting the services from their hotel guides that I was getting
from the professionals you made available to me.
You may use this letter in any way to promote your company and direct
e-mails to me from anyone that would like a recommendation.
Thank you Again,
Butch Carter.
