Camp Forktail Creek is located at the northeastern end of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, built on a clearing in the dense deciduous forest, off the Mohan Marchula Road. Camp Forktail Creek is an ideal place for camping in Corbett National Park.

Accommodation at the Camp Forktail Creek :
Camp Forktail Creek offers 12 luxurious safari styled tents that stand on raised wooden platforms. Each tent has its own balcony so that you can have your private moments with nature. Each tent also has its own semi-tiled toilets with running cold water. Hot water is supplied in buckets on request during the mornings and evenings only. Electricity is rarely put use. Lighting in night is done with oil lanterns. You can also combine your stay at the Camp Forktail Creekwith trips and stays at the other forest rest houses within and around the Corbett National Park.

Dining at the Camp Forktail Creek Resort:
Camp Forktail Creek Resort has a one-stop dining and lounge area called the Thatch -built of locally available grass and wood and lit at night with lanterns. Campfires and barbeque sessions can be arranged around the Thatch in the especially reserved barbeque area and a prepared campfire pit.

Recreation at the Camp Forktail Creek :
Camp Forktail Creek offers tailor-made fishing and bird-watching tours using the camp as the launching base. These bird-watching excursions can be a day's walk through the reserve, or it can last for days wherein you put at Forest Bungalows or similar resting tents. Similarly, fishing excursions to the Ramganga River for fishing and angling can last for days according to your needs. Elephant safaris and hiking are other recreational alternatives to see and enjoy the diverse flora and fauna of the Corbett National Park.

The nearest railway station is at Ramnagar (just 1.5 kms away from Corbett National Park), which is well connected by roads.
