Introduction
Located in the High Ranges of the Western Ghats, Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary stretches over an area of 97 square kilometers. The undulating landscape, the rolling plateau and the high peak of Anamudi comprise to make the Wildlife Sanctuary home for many different kinds of animals.
Shrubs, grasslands, and forests are the three different species of plants are found in the Wildlife Sanctuary area. The grasslands cover the hills and the high altitude regions.
