Spread over an area of 6 sq km is the Rollerpadu grasslands near Srisailam. Dotted with dry, thorny bushes, a natural habitat for blackbucks. Other main species of flora in Nagarjunasagar are anogeissus latifolia, Cleisthanthus collinus,Terminalia,Pterocarpus marsupium,hardwickia binata,boswellia serrara, tectonagrandis etc.
