The Namdhapa National Park spreads across a vast area of about 1985.23 square kilometers. There are 3 important rivers in this region and each of these rivers flows on to join the River Nao Dihing, which is a tributary of the Brahmaputra River. The Namdhapa National Park is the only wildlife park in the world which has different heights at the different levels. At one level the height is 200 meters and on the other hand the height is found to be 4,500 meters. The altitudinal disparity is as much as even 4,300 meters.
The Namdhapa National Park is the place of habitation for various kinds of mammals in the wildlife population.
