Introduction :
The Keibul Lam Jeo National Park is an unusual wilderness and the home of the Sangai or Manipur brow- antlered deer. Spread over a mere 40 sq km area, this park once used to be the hunting ground for water fowls. It was declared a sanctuary in 1954 when numbers of the highly localised Sangai fell alarmingly. With the Logtak Lake with its floating weeds in the vicinity, this park offers a unique experience in tune with the kind of exhilarating experience all of Manipur offers in general
