Introduction:
Where there are forests, there will be animals and where there are animals there will be humans. Environmentalists come in these natural reserves of India with the motive to learn and graph the animal kingdom, tourists visit to get engrossed in the call of the wild and poachers visit this scenic peaceful region to make a business out of the very lives of these animals. However due to the recent hue and cry about animal preservation and eco system balance, poaching in this reserves have decreased to a considerable amount.

Kaimoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttar Pradesh was set up in 1982 and is located in the border area of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The vegetation consists of 500 square kilometers of verdant land.

The topography of the region is as varied as the types of animals that it houses. It is populated by mosaic grassland, deciduous forest and swampy marshes.

The main animal population consists of antelope, blue bull, black buck Chital, chinkara and pea fowl.
