The Katepurna Sanctuary in Akola, Maharashtra is an exotic sanctuary dotted with an abundance of flora and fauna. Positioned in Akola district in Vidarbha region of the state of Maharashtra, the sanctuary lies in close proximity to the catchments area of Katepurna reservoir.
