Introduction
Bull Temple Bangalore is one of the oldest temples in the city. The temple is situated in Basavanagudi and is dedicated to Nandi, the mount of Lord Shiva. The Bull Temple Bangalore is actually located in Bungle hill at the southern end of Bull Temple Road. The monolithic bull which is 4.5 meters tall and 6 meters long, is supposed to be much older than the temple housing and consisting it. It is believed and said that the source of the river Vishva Bharti originates at the feet of the statue. Every year there are thousands of tourists from every part of the world and from all over India who visit this beautiful and picturesque temple.
