Introduction

Aranmula is a located at Kerala and is one of the famous tourist spots in India. History of Aranmula:

In Aranmula you would find the traditional ways of building construction at Vaasthu Vidya Gurukulam. It is located beside the holy Pampa River where the traditional festival Maramon Convention is held. Lord Sri Krishna once visited this place and to celebrate his visit Aranmula Vallamkali event is ceremoniously followed. Moreover there is also a temple of the Lord Vishnu, and each year, as part of the custom, a member of the throni, who symbolizes Garuda, the vahana of Vishnu is set free. It is a spectacular scene to notice the throni descending down the Pampa, and pilgrims worship this sight for being sacramental.

The backwaters in Kerala hold attraction for the tourists all over the world. Here races are also conducted with snake boats in the Onam Festivals. These are the specially designed boats that are constructed in order to accommodate 100 oarsmen at a time. This demonstration draws millions of people all along the sides of the River Pampa.
