Guruvayur:
Located a few kilometers from Thrissur this is famous for the Guruvayur Temple which has a number of myths and legends related to the Temple. Considered to be a sacred place for the devotees this is one of the excellent getaways from Thrissur in Kerala.
Athirapally and Vazachal:
Acres of lush greenery and white flowing waterfalls distinguish Athirapally and Vazachal. Frequented by a large number of tourists, this is one of the most beautiful places in Kerala. Athirapally and Vazachal are the names of the two waterfalls which are located here.
