About Kerala Village Fair
The locals know the ten-day long kerala Village Fair as "Gramam". Kovalam is a widely visited place in country drawing foreign tourists throughout the year. Apart from the beaches, Kovalam is included in the India travel package of tourists during the fair season. The basic concept of having the "Gramam" is to recreate an entire village in Kerala style. Features of Kerala Village Fair
As part of the fair, the traditional thatched-roof houses are decorated on the first two-days of the festival. The "Nalukettu" homes have the traditional decors and illuminated with lights at night. The replication of the entire village in Kerala style, brings back the traditional fervor. On the days of this festival, you can avail the accommodation facilities available nearby. The theme of simplicity is cherished through the work of the artists.

The homesteads in Kerala, "tharavadu" are mansions primarily made of wood. The open-courtyard, pillars, and other architectural style of traditional homes have a huge collection of antiques. Tourists will be left enthralled with the teak, sandalwood, and modern furniture sets. The flower decoration of "Pookalam" makes the huts look even more enchanting.

The celebration days also includes folk dance performances of Pulikali, Villupattu, Theyyam, and Thullal. Savor delicacies like "Puttu" and "Kadala".
