The Golf Course in Shimla is one of the best Golf Courses in North India. It is situated in Naldhera which is a good 23 kilometers from main Shimla. This scenic ground was founded by the then viceroy of India Lord Curzon. This golf course in Shimla is considered to be one of the oldest and biggest grounds in India. It is a 68 par and nine holed golf course where the biggest hole is approximately 370 yards while the smallest is 115 yards. The overall topography of the ground is strolling and green. It is a great challenge for professional golfers as you cannot predict the route of the ball with the rolling topography.
The Golf Course in Shimla consists of an artificial water tank and a temple. There is another Golf Course in Shimla which is maintained by the army.
