The Jaypee Open in the year 2007 was sponsored by LG and was held between 1st August and 4th August in Jaypee Greens Golf resort in Greater Noida. There were around 117 prominent Golfers who participated in the tour. The winner of the Jaypee Open Amateur 2007 was Anirban Lahiri, who finished with a total of six-under 282 at the par-72 golf course. Manav Das was the runner up with a gross score was 286.
Jaypee Greens Golf Course is the only one 18 hole Greg Norman designed signature Golf Course in the country. It is a par-72 course and boasts of being the longest Golf Course in India. The Golf Course is beautifully bounded by lakes and provides a wonderful experience to both beginner and experienced Golfers to have an optimum level of learning. There are 5 different types of Tees in this course which are – professional, Club members, Senior Members, ladies, and Kids and regular lady golfers. Besides this, there is an exclusive Club House with an elegant atmosphere for organizing business meetings, celebrations and member events. The Club House also has well appointed locker rooms with lockers, showers, changing area and provision for sitting.
