Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Guwahati - Sualkuchi
On Arrival at Guwahati you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Sualkuchi to visit the silk village. Later board the RV Charaidew, your cruiser.
In the context of silk weaving in Assam, Sualkuchi is a name that stands apart. You will get a chance to explore weaving workshops to see the whole process of silk manufacture, from cocoon to spinning to dyeing and finally to hand weaving into exquisite saris and dress lengths.
Stay overnight on board.
Day 02: Tarabari Ghat - Manas
In the morning you will reach Tarabari Ghat to visit Manas National Park.
The Manas National Park boasts of a wealth of wildlife. One can observe here several species of plants, animals and birds. You may even catch a glimpse of the rare Bengal Florican or the Great Hornbill.
Stay overnight at the lodge.
Day 03: Manas National Park
In the early morning enjoy an elephant ride across the Manas National Park. After breakfast you will be taken through a local village and nearby tea garden.
An elephant ride through the grasslands provides the best opportunity to explore the Manas National Park. Watch deers, otters, tigers and wild elephants. Also see some of the park's 380 different species of birds, perhaps including the rare Bengal Florican or the Great Hornbill.
