Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 - Arrival Cochin (35 km-1 hrs)
On reaching Cochin you will be received and transferred to the hotel from the airport or the railway station. You will take rest and get freshened up. After lunch its time to get a favor of the place with the visit to Cochin Harbor from you will get close to the Arabian Sea. Set off from Fort Cochin and get on to a sight seeing tour to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc. Rest of the day you can jolly well spend at leisure followed by an overnight stay at Cochin
Day 02 - Cochin - Munnar (150 km-4.5 hrs)
Take a grand breakfast at the hotel and check out to set off on a fascinating journey to Munnar. On your way to your destination enjoy the stunning view of the Cardamom hills & greenery of the tea plantations. When you reach Munnar check in at Hotel/ Resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure to relieve the tiredness of the journey by trekking around the estate. Then have an overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03 - Munnar
Next morning set out early in the morning to visit the Eravikulam National Park. See the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr and then visit the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market. Go back to the hotel and take rest of the day. Have an overnight stay at the hotel
Day 04 Munnar - Thekkady (120 km-4 hrs)
On day 4 it is a bit busy schedule. Your time begins after breakfast. Check out from the Hotel and set off for the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady and check in at the Hotel/Resort near the spot. Your next move is at to attend an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake to see a large variety of wildlife like elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds. After that it is time to return to the hotel and chill for the rest of the day where you can have a peaceful overnight stay at the place.
Day 05 - Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 km-4 hrs)
Next morning drive down to Kumarakom to get a view of the picturesque landscapes on your way.
