Detailed Itinerary
A joint venture of the Rajasthan Tourist Development Corporation (RTDC) and the Indian Railways, Heritage on Wheels is a luxury tourist train designed on the lines of the Palace on Wheels. Running on meter gauge en route the vast and unexplored stretches of Bikaner and Shekhawati - Heritage on Wheels provides an excellent opportunity to explore the rugged beauty and rich heritage of Rajasthan amidst sheer luxury and opulence. The journey starts from Jaipur station every Tuesday and Friday, and ends at the same station on Friday/Monday respectively.

Report for Check-in at Jaipur Railway Station: 18.30 hrs.
Departure for Bikaner: 19.30 hrs.
Dinner on Board: 20.00 hrs.

Surrounded by rugged hills on three sides, Jaipur - the capital city of the state of Rajasthan finely exemplifies the character of the state and its people. Built by Maharaja Ganga Singhji as a tribute to his father Raja Lal Singhji - Lalgarh Palace is one of the major tourist sites in Rajasthan. This red sandstone building features intricate latticework and filigree, massive courtyards and ornate marble pillars.
