The Fairy Queen train acclaimed to be the world's oldest steam locomotive in operation. Fairy Queen made its maiden journey way back in 1855 for the British East Indian Railway and is distinguished amongst the most popular heritage trains in the world. The heritage train starts its wonderful 2-day trip from New Delhi, the historic capital of India, and takes you in one of the finest tiger reserves of India at Sariska, Rajasthan.
The Fairy Queen train has a single A/C passenger coach with 50 comfortable seats on which guests can stretch out and enjoy the ride from Delhi to Alwar and back. The pantry coach on Fairy Queen serves gourmet dining arrangements. Explore the spicy dishes from Rajasthani. Passengers are greeted in traditional Rajasthani style on their arrival at Alwar. From Alwar, passengers are taken to the well-known Sariska Palace Hotel in the wilderness of the Sariska National Park. 'Heritage Train' runs between Delhi and Alwar. From Alwar, the tourists are taken to the famous Sariksa Wildlife Sanctuary by luxury bus.
The 1 Night / 2 Days journey of the Fairy queen is a memorable one. The train departs from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station every 2nd and 4th Saturdays from October to March.
Day 01 - Saturday
