Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 : ARRIVAL DELHI
Arrive at Delhi and meet our representative who would escort you to the hotel. Freshen up after checking in and enjoy the lecture by the expert chef followed by spice shopping in the evening.
India has been famous for its spices and many a royal treasury in Europe has been generously drained to buy spices from Indian overseas traders. Saffron, cloves, and nutmeg, are some of the most sought after Indian spices.
Dinner and night stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 : DELHI
After breakfast visit several tourist hotspots of Delhi like Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, and more.
Enjoy an Indian lunch at a restaurant. In the evening return to the hotel for a cooking demo by the chef who will teach you how to cook an Indian meal. Cook yourself one for dinner and relish the same.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 3 : DELHI - AGRA
In the morning drive to Agra. Visit Akbar's tomb at Sikandra en route and have lunch at a highway eatery. On reaching Agra check in at a hotel and know more from the chef about Mughlai cuisine.
The Mughals brought Mughlai cuisine to India. Lots of butter, dry fruits, and spices like saffron and nutmeg are the essence of Mughali cuisine. The Kebabs, Biriyani, Kofta, and Tandoori items are internationally popular among foodies.
Enjoy the evening exploring the city by yourself, shop for trinkets or just explore the vibrant streets of Agra.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4 : AGRA
After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Agra. In the middle of the trip we stop at an Indian restaurant to treat ourselves to a lip smacking Indian lunch.
Visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb. The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. The Agra Fort is built in red sandstone and is located about northwest to the Taj Mahal.
