Tour Description: The tour takes you to the to the world famous and most erotic temples of Khajuraho and famous national parks of Central India rich in varied wildlife with out compare. Kanha national park is often called 'tiger land' and Bandhavgarh national park is known as "white tiger" country.Tribal folk dances & visit to Tribal villages enhances the taste of this wonderful trip.
The itinerary :
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Morning combined city sightseeing Old and New Delhi covering Jama Masjid - The largest mosque in Asia, Red Fort-The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial–The memoir of father of the nation. Sightseeing India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Parliament House – The govt. head quarters, Humayun Tomb and Qutab Minar. Overnight hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jhansi
Arrive by Shatabdi Exp. train to Jhansi. Upon arrival transfer by road to Orchha ( Apprx.1/2 hours ). Arrive Orchha and check-in at the hotel.
Orchha :
In the 16th and 17th centuries the Hindu Bundela rulers, who were allies of the Moghuls, built up Orchha as a provincial capital on he banks of the winding Betwa River. On the bank of the Betwa River next to Kanchana Ghat, a short walk upstream from the town proper, are 14 sandstone Cenotaphs built in honor of the former rulers.Upon arrival check-in at the hotel The Orchha Resort.
Afternoon you can also visit Chaturbhuj Temple, Ram Raja Temple, Dinman Hardaul's Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Orchha - Khajuraho
Morning drive to Khajuraho ( Apprx. 4 hours ). Upon arrival check-in at the hotel.
Khajuraho was once a religious and political capital of the Chandela dynasty who ruled Central India between 9th and 13th century. Its major tourist attractions are the temples depicting erotic sculptures and figurines. The temples are divided into eastern and Western temples and boasts of Chandela art. Overnight at the hotel.
Afternoon visit Eastern & Western Group of temples.
Day 05: Bandhavgarh National Park
Morning drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (6 hrs drive). You will be transferred to the hotel. Move out for the jungle gypsy safari deep inside the national park for the evening safari.
Day 06: Bandhavagarh National Park
Early in the morning set out for the adventurous trial on the Jeep Safari and spot the tigers in the national park. Also we take view of various forms of wildlife existing in the park. In the evening set out once again for the Jungle Safari.
Day 07: Kanha National Park
Drive to Kanha National Park (6 hrs) and on arrival check-in your hotel. Move out for the jungle gypsy safari in the evening.
Day 08: Kanha National Park
Start on the gypsy safari to see the wild tiger roaming freely in the Kipling’s country. After lunch move out once again for the jungle gypsy safari.
Day 09: Kanha - Kawardha
After the early morning safari drive straight to Kawardha (4 hrs).After checking into the palace, you will have your first exposure of tribal life of the Bastars. Evening you will be on your first trip to the surrounding tribal villages, which are still untouched from bustling life of a city.Today visit the famous Boremdeo Temples, Saroda Reservoir and Lohara Bavli.
Overnite in Hotel Kawardha Palace.
Day 10: Kawardha
Morning at leisure. Today you will be taken to the nearby Tribal villages where you will explore the lifestyle and culture of the tribals of this area.
Day 11: Kawardha – Raipur - Raipur – Delhi (By flight)
Morning transfer to Raipur airport (2 1/2 hrs) to connect Delhi and straight transfer to the International Airport for your onward destination.
