Ajmer
Perhaps the most important pilgrimage site in Ajmer is the Tomb of Muin-ud-Din- Chisti. Also known as the Ajmer-e-Sharief Dargah, the tomb is considered to be one of the most important pilgrimage sites of India by people of all faiths who travel long distances to reach these holy gates.
Known as the “Gharib-Nawaz” for the welfare activities he carried amongst the poor all through his life, Moinuddin Chishti is one of the most revered figures of the religious history of India. Beautiful yet surprisingly simple, the shrine is considered to be a place of wish-fulfillment. The shrine is also home to a number of other mosques built by people all through the ages. These include a prayer room in the Dargah for the women devotees by the daughter of Shah Jahan as well as the tombs of Bhishti, tomb of Saint's daughter-Bibi Hafiz Jama and that of Shah Jahan's daughter Chimni Begum. The main festival of the Ajmer Sharif is the Urs Fair, which is a commemoration of the 6 days of prayer in solitude after which the saint had embraced death.
Mount Abu
The only hill resort of Rajasthan, Mount Abu is considered to be one of the most popular tourist attractions of Rajasthan, not just for its scenic locales but also for the different pilgrimage centers that dot the tiny district. These include the Dilwara Jain Temples, a masterpiece in the world of temple architecture done up in white marble. Constructed around the 11th and the 13 th centuries, the temple is dedicated to the Jain Tirthankaras. One of the most important of these temples is the Vimal Vasahi temple built in 1031 A.D., which is the oldest of these and dedicated to the first Tirthankara, Shri Rishavadev.

Pushkar
Located in the heart of Rajasthan at a distance of just 135 km from Jaipur and 10 km from Ajmer is the pilgrim town of Pushkar, known for the Pushkar Lake situated right in the middle of the district. Known for its fair during which thousands of devotes reach the city, Pushkar is a very important pilgrimage site for the Hindus, mainly because of the Brahma Temple that is one of the most revered sites of Hinduism. Ranakpur
One of the five most important pilgrimage sites of the Jains, Ranakpur is located in the heart of the Aravalli Mountain Range, in the Pali District of Rajasthan at a distance of 95 km from Udaipur and 23 km from the Phalna Railway Station. Famous for its 15 th century Jain Temples, the main attraction of the city is the Chaturmukh (Four faced) Jain Temple dedicated to Jain Tirthankara Rishavadev and popularly known as the Ranakpur Jain Temple.
