Ajmer
The beautiful city of Ajmer is home to one of the most popular religious landmarks, tomb of Muin-ud-Din- Chisti. Popularly known as Ajmer-e-Sharief Dargah, this important landmark not only attracts the Muslim devotees but also devotees from other different communities. Devotees travel huge distances to pay a visit to this one of principal pilgrimages of India.

Muin-ud-Din-Chisti is regarded as one of the most famous personalities of India's religious history. He is often known by the name 'Gharib-Nawaz'. A festival of 6 days is held in Ajmer Shraif. Known as Urs Fair, this festival is the crowd puller of Ajmer.

Considered as a place where all wishes are fulfilled, the shrine also houses numerous other mosques. Some of the popular ones are a prayer room for women devotees in Darga, tomb of Bhishti, Bibi Hafiz Jama, Chimni Begum.

Pushkar
Nestled in the center of the state of Rajasthan, Pushkar is a principal pilgrimage site of the state. It is located 135 km from the capital city Jaipur and is 10 km from the holy city of Ajmer. Located near Pushkar Lake, this town, houses one of the most popular fairs in the entire world, the Pushkar Fair.

There is a Brahma Temple in Pushkar that attracts mainly Hindu devotees from around India. This principal pilgrimage site is home to numerous other temples like Savitri Temple, Apteshwar Temple, Varah Temple, Rangji Temple and Mahadeva Temple.

Mount Abu
The one and only hill station of the desert state of Rajasthan, Mount Abu is a popular tourist location of the state. Tourists from various parts of India as well as from different parts of the world travel to Mount Abu throughout the year. In addition to its picturesque beauty, favorable climate, Mount Abu is famous for housing Dilwara Jain Temples. Dating back to 11th and 13th century, these temples were mainly built to commemorate Jain Tirthankaras. These temples truly reflect the architectural genius of the erstwhile people. Constructed in 1031 A.D., Vimal Vashi is the oldest of all the temples and is dedicated to Shri Rishavadev, the first of the Tirthankaras.

Ranakpur
A principal pilgrimage site for the Jains, Ranakpur houses various Jain temples that date back to the 15th century. Located in the center of the Aravalli Mountain Range, Ranakpur is well-known for Chaturmukh or four-faced Jain Temple. Also known as Ranakpur Jain Temple, this temple is built in honor of Rishavadev, a Jain Tirthankara.
