Detailed Itinerary
Day 01:
On day 01 of the South India Temple, the tour operator welcomes you on reaching Chennai. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 02:
Drive to Kanchipuram, on day 02 of the South India Temple Tour. On reaching, go for a sightseeing tour of Kanchipuram. Visit Kailasanthar temple, Ekambareshwar Temple, Vardarajanperumal temple and Sakiswarar temple. In the afternoon drive to Mahabalipuram. Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
Day 03:
On day 03 go for a sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram. Visit Shore Temple, The Five Raths, The Arjuna's Penanace and the Tiger Cave. In the afternoon drive to Pondicherry. On reaching transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 04:
On day 04 of Temple Tour in India, go for a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry. Visit Aurbindo Ashram, Auroville etc. In the afternoon drive to Swamimalai. Enroute visit Chidambaram, and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On reaching Swamimalai, transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Swamimalai.
Day 05:
In the morning of day 05, drive to Tanjore after taking breakfast. Visit the famous Brihadeshwara temple. Overnight stay in Tanjore.
Day 06:
On day 06, depart to the airport/ railway station for the onward journey.
