Detailed Itinerary
 Day 01 : Arrive at Pondicherry
Arrival at Pondicherry,
the site of the famous Aurobindo Ashram. Spend the day touring Auroville, and
relaxing at the hotel.
Day 02 : Pondicherry - Chidambaram
From Pondicherry, you will be driven to Chidambaram, the site of the Nataraja Temple. The gold plated roof of the temple dazzles with its beauty. Dedicated to Lord Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer, this temple at Chidambaram attracts devotes from
all over India and the world. In the afternoon, you will be taken to Thanjavoor.
From there, you will be driven to Brahadeswara Temple.
Day 03 : Tanjore - Trichy
Leave for Trichy in the morning. This city, located on the
banks of the lovely River Kaveri, is the site of the famous Ranganath Temple.
Visit the temples at Srirangam and Jambukeshwar. The night will be spent at a
Trichy hotel.
Day 04 : Trichy - Madurai
After a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, we start out for Madurai. Madurai is one of the holiest cities in India, home to the famous Meenakshi Temple. Tour the Tirumala Palace and the Gandhi Museum in the afternoon. The night will be spent at a Madurai hotel.
Day 05 : Madurai
Spend the day exploring Madurai, the ancient temple city.
You will be driven to nearby Rameswaram. The town is intimately connected to the
legend of Ramayana. Visit the famous temple, nestling on the seaside. Overnight
stay at Madurai.
Day 06 : Madurai - Trivandrum
You will be driven back to Trivandrum. The day will be spent at your leisure. You can either explore Trivandrum, or relax at the hotel.
Day 07 : Trivandrum - Kanyakumari - Trivandrum
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to Kanyakumari, the southernmost point in India. Visit the Amman Temple and the Vivekananda Rock. After lunch in Kanyakumari, you will be taken back to Trivandrum.
Day 08 : Trivandrum Departure
After breakfast, you will be taken to the Trivandrum Airport
to board your flight home.
