Kedarnath - Badrinath Yatra
Day 01- Delhi - Rishikesh
Depature New Delhi. You will depart for Rishikesh. Enroute
visit Haridwar by road. (225 kms / 5 hrs). Upon arrival
at Rishikesh, check in at your hotel. The rest of the
day is free for you to explore the city on your own.
Dinner & Overnight at The Tapovan Resort / Similar
Day 02- Rishikesh -Guptakashi (194 kms, 6-8 hrs )
Leave from Haridwar for Guptakashi after breakfast.
Lunch en route in Srinagar. Arrive and check in to the Char Dham Camp
Guptakashi and relax.
Dinner at the camp resort. Overnight at Guptakashi.
Day 03 - Guptakashi-Kedarnath ( Drive 32 kms, trek
14 kms )
After breakfast, pick up your packed lunch and leave
for Gaurikund (a 32 kms drive -one way). On arrival
start your journey on the tough trek ahead. Stop for
lunch en route and continue after that to arrive by
late afternoon. On arrival check in at Punjab Sind Awas/
Bikaner House . After freshening up, perform Pooja and
obtain Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. In the evening visit
Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple. Dinner
and overnight at the ashram in Kedarnath.
Day 04 - Kedarnath -Guptakashi (Trek 14 kms, drive
32 kms)
After breakfast, start you journey back to Gaurikund
and on arrival leave
for Guptakashi by road to reach the Char Dham Camp by
evening. Relax with
Ayurvedic Massage. Dinner at the camp resort. Overnight
at Guptakashi.
Day 05 - Guptakashi -Badrinath (215 kms 7-8 hrs
)
After breakfast leave for Joshimath via Chopta, one
of the most beautiful
sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive through
the thick forest
lunch at Joshimath . Arrive at Badrinath .Check in at
Hotel . Day Free at
Leisure .Dinner and overnight Hotel Naryan Palace
Day 06 - Badrinath
Early morning holy Darshan Breakfast at Hotel . Afternoon
spend time
visiting Mana village- the last village before the Tibetan
border. Come back
to the Hotesl for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07 - Badrinath - Rishikesh 274 kms (Drive 9-10
hrs)
After breakfast leave for Haridwar and on the way stop
for lunch at
Srinagar. Continue, and if time permits, visit Devprayag
(The confluence of
rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, to become the Ganga).
Reach Haridwar in the
evening to check in to Hotel Tapovan Resort or similar
.
Day 08 - Rishikesh - Delhi
Depart from Rishikesh for Delhi. Arrive and transfer
to Railway station / Airport
Yamunotri Gangotri Yatra
Day 01: Delhi – Rishikesh
Drive to Rishikesh, visiting Har-ki-Pauri in Hardwar enroute. Transfer to hotel on arrival in Rishikesh. In the evening visit Rishikesh Ghat for Ganga Aarti.
Dinner and night halt at hotel.
Day 02: Rishikesh - Barkot
After breakfast drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. Visit
Kempty Fall on the way. Check in at the hotel on arrival.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
Drive to Phool Chatti, and start the trek to Yamunotri (7kms). Either
Walk, ride a horse or use a Doli at own cost. Arrive at Yamunotri.
One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Perform Divya Shila pooja near the temple. After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warm water and having “Darshan” of the “Yamunaji”, proceed to Hanumanchatti. Later drive back to Barkot.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Barkot – Harshil
Drive to Harshil via Uttarkashi. Arrive and check in at Char Dham Tents (Deluxe Swiss Tents).
Stay overnight in tents.
Day 05: Harshil - Gangotri – Harshil
Proceed to Gangotri (3048 meters), to visit the Bhagirathi River and savor the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Darshan we return to
Harshil for overnight Stay .
Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Day 06: Harshil - Rishikesh
Enjoy an early morning drive to Rishikesh. Visit the Tehri Dam on the way. Arrive at Rishikesh and check in at a hotel.
Day 07: Rishikesh – Delhi
Have breakfast at the hotel and drive to Delhi.
