Lal Tibba (Depot Hill)This is the highest point in this region. The Lal Tibba offers you magnificent landscape views situated close to the locales. Travelers can have a clear view of sites like Kedarnath, Badrinath and the Himalayan Peaks.
Kempty FallsSituated at a distance of 15 kms from Mussoorie, Kempty Falls is cushioned amidst the rocky hills. You can see the crystal clear water gushing out from an altitude of 4,500 ft. The falls again gets divided into five other falls at an altitude of 40 ft each. It was the British who earlier arranged tea-parties initially here. Hence, its colloquial name 'Camp-Tea'. Later on it came to be known as the 'Kempty' Falls and is open to public between the months of March and July.
Jwalaji TempleJwalaji is one of the famous Hindu temples that is situated at a distance of 9 kms from this hill station. It is attributed to Goddess 'Durga', and is located atop Benog Hill, at an altitude of 2100 meters. Encompassed by dense forests all round the temple is set amidst a striking backdrop. In addition to that, visitors can have fascinating view of the Doon Valley, Yamuna Valley, and the Himalayan peaks.
Mussoorie LakeThis is a newly made lake that is located on the Dehradun road and is at a distance of 6 kms from the hill station. Developed the Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority and the city board it is considered as a famous picnic spot.
