Tourist Attractions in Bhavnagar Established by Bhavsinhji Gohil in1723 AD, Bhavnagar is the capital of Bhavnagar State, the earliest princely state to join with independent Indian Union in 1948. At present it is the fifth-largest city of Gujarat, and is often regarded as the cultural capital of Saurashtra.
