The museum has some exquisite collection of metal ware, decorative ware, miniature portrait, sculpture, paintings, along with display of costumes, pottery, brassware, woodwork, carpets and much more.
The building was designed by Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob in the modern Indo-Saracenic style and was built during the visit of King Edward VII as the Prince of Wales.
