The capital of the desert state of Rajasthan, Jaipur, is usually expected to be barren by outsiders. There are many gardens in Jaipur and the most remarkable amongst them include Vidyadhar Garden, dedicated to the architect of the city, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, and the Kanak Vrindavan Valley.
Vidyadhar Garden: it is a beautiful garden located near the Sisodia Gardens and is the best preserved one. The garden is named after the chief architect and town planner of Jaipur city, Vidyadhar Bhattacharjee. The garden is surrounded by lush greenery and is has narrow valleys and offers some exotic views.
Sisodia Rani ka Bagh: This garden was built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur. The garden was offered as a gift in 1728 by the Maharaja to his Sisodia Queen from Udaipur. The garden is built in Mughal Style with the theme of eternal love of Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha.
Kanak Vrindavan Valley: this garden is situated in the foothills of Nahargarh Hills in the Jaipur – Amer direction. The Kanak Vrindavan Valley leaves lasting impression on the tourist. The trip to the valley offers a close look of the three garland forts of Jaipur, Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Amber fort.
