The Jain Temple was established in the year 1956 following the recovery of an idol of Shri Chandra Prabhu Bhagwan on August 16, 1956. This white stone idol was retrieved from underground reinforcing the belief that this place was once a very thriving Dehra or place where Jain idols are worshipped. On March 29, 1972 yet another black stone idol was discovered. After the setting up of the Jain Temple, the place has once again regained its former importance as an important pilgrim center. It was at one point of time an important center of the Jain community, in the medieval period it was destroyed but today it has once again emerged not just as a pilgrimage site of the Jains but also as one of the most important Tourist Attractions in Alwar.

This rectangular shaped temple boasts of exquisitely carved pillars and arches. The elaborate carvings are as impressive as the exquisite paintings. It is vast and magnificent and is sure to impress any onlooker. The tower soars high and is quite striking. The halls of the temple have an accommodative capacity of 200 people at a time and are very beautifully adorned.
