Introduction:
The Lakshminath Temple, Jaisalmer is dedicated to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and her husband who is Lord Vishnu known as the preserver in the holy and sanctum trinity of Hindu gods. History:
Located inside the Jaisalmer fort, the Lakshminath Temple, Jaisalmer was built in 1494. A Brahmin by the name of Sen Pal Shakdvipi had installed the idols of Vishnu and Lakshmi. Lakshminath Temple in Jaisalmer in India is one of the oldest temples and it was built during the reign of Rao Lunkaran. The temple was later developed and more beautified by the great Maharaja named Ganga Singh Ji.
