The Jain Temples, Mount Abu were built between the 11th and 13th century A.D by skilled craftsmen who wove a dream in marbles. The temples are dedicated to the Jain thirthankaras. Jainism made its appearance in Mount Abu in the 11th century. The Jain Temples are a group of temples carved ingeniously in white marble. The intricate pattern and construction of the temples leaves one dumbfounded. The oldest of these temples is the The Vimala Vasahi temple dedicated to Adi Nath who was the first Jain thirthankara. By far and large this is one of the most important temple architecture and houses some 58 odd smaller cell which contains duplication image of Bhimadeva.
