Jaisamand Lake covers an area of 9 miles in breadth, 102 feet in and has a circumference of 30 miles with marble staircases leading into the water. The Jaisamand Lake lay near the summer palaces of the Queens of Udaipur and it is said that the palace was built in such a way that the cool breeze flowing from the lake becomes enjoyable to the royal family.
