Day 01 : Arrive in Delhi
Met and assist at the Airport and transfer to your downtown hotel. Delhi has a fascinating history and stimulating present. Check into the rooms. Rest and Relax. Later proceed for the combined sightseeing of Old and New Delhi to include drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), India Gate, and Qutab Minar. Post Lunch to include Rajghat, Jama Masjid and a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk (the silver street). Special welcome Dinner and drinks. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi – Ranthambore
Early morning depart for Ranthambore by train. On arrival transfer to your lodge a short distance away from railway station. Afternoon visit to the Park. Situated in the Southwest rajas than, where the Vindhayas and the Aravalli hills meet, The River Chambal in the South and Banas in the north made of rocky plains, flat hilltops, gentle slopes and precipitous cliffs covered by dry deciduous forest binds the Ranthambore are virtually an island rich in flora and fauna. The Ranthambore Park boasts of animals like Tigers, Leopards, the elusive caracals, hyenas, sloth bears, and wild bears etc in addition a rich bird life. Evening at leisure to enjoy the surrounding area of your Resort. Overnight at The hotel or lodge.
Day 03 - 04 : Ranthambore
Morning and Evening Safari of The Park in private open jeeps or sharing small canter trucks(which ever is available) with park naturalist. Take a walk to the famous Ranthambore fort and visit sacred Ganesh temple. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 05 : Ranthambore – Jaipur (5-6 hrs)
After, breakfast drive to Jaipur. Jaipur- the city capital in the autumnal sunset, literally blushed pink when Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria visited in 1883. Interspersing the plan of red and pink were white borders and motiffs painstakingly outlining the architectural highlights of Jaipur’s buildings. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of yesteryears that were witness to royal processions and splendor are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally into the lifestyles of the people of the Pink City. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Jaipur
Arrive Amer Fort and proceed for the hilltop fort on decorated Elephants. You ride up on elephants to the former capital of the royals set to the backdrop of wooded hills. Later drive to your hotel. Post lunch tour of the City palace, the Palace of Winds and the observatory. Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 07 : Jaipur – Agra (via Fatehpur Sikri, 5-6 hrs)
Drive to Agra after breakfast enroute stopping to see the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive by lunch. Check into your hotel. Agra, in terms of ambience is still associated with the Mughal period. With it’s laid back lifestyle & its immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts & jewellery, is amongst the most remarkable cities of the world. In the evening visit the mausoleum built by Shah Jehan for his beloved Wife-Empress Mumtaj – The Taj Mahal. Also visit the fort on the sands of the river Yamuna. Various styles of architecture are evident within the fort. Overnight at Agra.
Day 08 : Agra – Bandhavgarh
Morning tour of the world famous monument ‘Taj Mahal’, followed by a trip to Agra Fort, which has been the seat of Mughal rulers for several years. The fort has palaces with pavilions, gardens, mosques, baths etc. For people the world over - the Taj Mahal, mausoleum of the Mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal, is synonymous with India. Its curving, gently swelling dome and the square base upon which it rests so lightly is a familiar image from hundreds of brochures and travel books. The Taj is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular buildings of the world. Renowned for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty, it counts among man's proudest creations and is invariably included in the list of the world's foremost wonders. As a tomb, it has no match upon earth, for mortal remains have never been housed in greater grandeur! Visit Agra Fort, and local market. After early dinner transfer to the railway station for the Overnight Train journey to the nearest station connecting to Bandhavgarh. Travel In the comforts of air-conditioned reserved sleeping coach.
Day 09 : Bandhavgarh
Arrive Bandhavgarh in the State of Madhya Pradesh and drive for one hr to your camp close to the park. Besides royal Bengal Tiger Bandhavgarh is also dominated by an ancient fort and is especially noted for, Gaur, Sloth Bear, Deer, Wild Boar and Antelope. Morning is free to explore the nearby reserve forest for bird watching with your expert nature guide. Afternoon Visit Park on jeeps. Overnight in a very comfortable camp.
Day 10 : Bandhavgarh
Visit the reserve at dawn and dusk by jeep and elephant.
Day 11 : Bandhavgarh – Kanha 6-7 hrs
Post breakfast, drive to Kahna National Park. Arrive by late lunch. Often described as India’s finest game sanctuary and a model for wildlife conservation, Kanha’s magnificent landscape combines grassy meadows and flat-topped hills with meandering streams and lush deciduous forests. The setting for Rudyard Kipling’s famous Jungle Book, Kanha is today an important Project Tiger Reserve. The rich variety of wildlife found within this 1,954 – Sq km Park, once the exclusive hunting ground of British Viceroy’s includes deer, leopard, hyena, sloth bear, pythons and nearly 300 species of birds.Overnight at a comfortable jungle lodge.
Day 12-13 : Kanha
Morning and evening visits to the park by jeep and elephant. Overnight Kanha.
Day 14 : Kanha – Pench 4-5 hrs
Depart for Pench, Arrive by lunch. Pench Tiger Reserve is India's 19th Project Tiger Park & is considered one of the countries finest new tiger reserves spread over 750 square kilometers and consisting of primarily teak forest. The population of game is also very high - it is considered to be the park with the highest density of prey (Spotted Deer, Wild Boar, Sambar, Blue Bull and the Indian Bison). It is also home to a very healthy population of Tigers, Leopards, Wild Dogs, and Jackal amongst other smaller predators. In fact there is a scientific study on the wild dogs being carried out by the Wild Life Institute of India.
Day 15 : Pench
At Pench. Morning and evening safari or walk. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 16 : Pench – Nagpur 2 hrs to Delhi
Post breakfast, drive to Nagpur, (92 km). In the continuation transfer to airport in time to board flight to Delhi. Met and assist at Delhi airport. You have an option to explore Delhi on your own till evening. Hotel can be provided for day use with extra supplement. Enjoy farewell dinner. Later transfer to international airport to board flight back home.
