Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi Bagdogra By Flight- Darjeeling
Arrive Bagdogra and depart by surface to Darjeeling 93 Kms 3 hrs. drive approx. Arrive Darjeeling and check-in to Hotel. Overnight
Day 02 : Darjeeling
Morning visit Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery. breakfast Toy train ride Upto Ghoom & afternoon visits Tibetan Refugee Centre & HMI. Overnight stay
Day 03 : Darjeeling Pemayangtse (Pelling)
After breakfast drive to Pemayangtse. On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon Visit Pemanyangste Monastery.
Day 04 : Pemayangtse -Gangto
Morning depart by surface to Gangtok. Arrive and check-in to hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing covering Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten and world famous Rumtek Monastery
Day 05 : Gangtok - Lachung
Pick from Gangtok Hotel and transfer to Lachung (117 kms / 05 1/2 hrs). En route sightseeing of Kabilungtsok, Naga Waterfalls and Holy Rock at Chungthang. Lunch enroute. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Lachung - Yumthang - Lachung
Take an excursion to Yumthang. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : Lachung - Gangto
Transfer to Gangtok. On the way, see mighty Kanchendzonga from Singhik (subjected to good weather condition) and visit Phodang Monastery. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 : Gangtok Phuntsoling (Bhutan Bordor)
After breakfast drive to Phuntsoling and handover to bhutan agent. On arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 09 : Phuntsoling Thimpu : (176 Kms -06 Hours Drive)
After breakfast assistance and drive to Thimpu. On arrival check in at Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : Thimpu
After breakfast, we will visit the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the School of Thangkha paintings and the Traditional Medicine Institute. We will also pass through the Trashi Chhodzong, where the administrative head quarters of ministries are located. Lunch will be served in one of the restaurants in town, where both local as well as international cuisines are available. In the afternoon, we could drive to Dochula, which is approximately 23 Kms from Thimphu. On a clear day, the snow-capped peaks of Mt.Gangkar Puensum, Table Mountain, Jeje Khang, Masakhang and Gangcheyta could be seen. The One Hundred and Nine Chortens (stupas), Dinner will be served in Hotel Taktsang.
Day 11 : Thimpu Paro : (65 Kms 02 Hours Drive)
After breakfast, drive to Paro.Check in at Hotel Olathang.We will visit the ruins of Drugyel Dzong. On the way to Drugyel Dzong, we will be passing through many local houses built in traditional styles. You can also have the view of famous Taktsang Monastery from the way to Drugyel Dzong. For lunch, we will choose a restaurant in the town depending on your interest and choice of meals. After lunch we will visit the National Museum or Ta Dzong (an ancient watch tower), which has a fine collection of Thangkha paintings, weapons and artifacts. After the visit to Ta Dzong we will take a short walk to Rimpung Dzong, the administrative head quarter of Paro district. Dinner will be served in one of the hotels in the town. Overnight stay.
Day 12 : Paro Delhi
Transfer to Paro airport to connect flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and immediate connect flight for onward destination.
