Detailed Itinerary
1st Day : Delhi - Paro by Druk Air
2nd Day : Paro - Sightseeing
3rd Day : Paro - Thimphu
4th Day : Thimphu - Khuruthang
Drive to Khuruthang with the pack-lunch provided at the Hotel. Stop at Dochula pass if the weather is clear to get the views of the Himalayan snow capped mountains. Lunch at the camp and then drive to Punakha Dzong. Visit the Dzong when the Monks are in Thimphu.
5th Day : Khuruthang - Limukha
Drive till Punakha Dzong. The trek begins with the gradual climb through chirpine forest. A stop to visit the village of Dompala can be organised depending on group's choice. Distance 5/6 hours. Overnight in tent.
 6th Day : Limukha - Chungsakha
The trail today takes you through Rhododendron and Oak forested area. Overnight in tents. Distance 14 kms about 5/6 hours.
7th Day : Chungskha - Samtengang
The trail now takes you through the village of Sha Wangdi. Camp at Samtengang at the lake side. Distance 13 kms about 5/6 hours.
8th Day : Samtengang - Wangdi - Thimphu
The trail now drops down till the motor road. Drive till Wangdiphodrang and lunch at Tourist lodge. Then continue to drive to Thimphu. Overnight in Hotel.
9th Day : Thimphu - Sightseeing
10th Day : Thimphu - Paro Airport
Drive to the International Airport at Paro for onward flight.
