Detailed Itinerary
 Day 01 : Chennai – Covelong
After arrival to Chennai drive to the Fisherman’s Cove Hotel at Covelong Beach, just 32 kms from the city. Stop enroute at Dakshin Chitra cultural center dedicated to the art, architecture and culture of the Southern Indian states. Stay Overnight.
ts landscape, sky, shooting stars, silence, wizened faces, rosy cheeks, dragons & Zen everything makes Ladakh a unique place to visit. This ethereal cold desert that goes by names such as “The Last Shangrilla,” Moon escape, Roof Top of The World, Little Tibet and so many others all of which ring true, is a land that seldom fails to baffle or surprise. The lifeline of this region of monks & monasteries, which is still in mystery, is the river Indus stretching over 450 kms. It is a land abounding in awesome physical features, set in an enormous and spectacular environment. Bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Karakoram in the north and the Great Himalaya in the south, it is traversed by two other parallel chains, the Ladakh Range and the Zanskar Range.
Day 01 : Chandigarh
Arrival pickup transfer from Rly. Stn. / Airport to Hotel. Dinner & night halt.
Day 02 : Chandigarh - Manali (320 kms / 8hrs drive)
Morning after breakfast drive to Manali via Mandi & Kullu. Check in at hotel. Rest day free for personal activities. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 03 : Manali (Local Sight Seeing)
After breakfast, visit local sight seeing i.e. Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Bath, Jagat Sukh etc. or day free for acclimatization. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04 : Manali - Jispa via Keylong
Early in the morning start driving to Jispa via Rohtang pass (13000 ft.) and Keylong, the distance of about 150 kms will be covered in about 8 hrs. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel at Jispa.
Day 05 : Jispa - Sarchu
Drive over Baralacha-la (4892 Mts.) to Sarchu. The distance of about 114 kms will be covered in about 6 hrs. The landscape enroute is magnificent. Dinner & overnight stay in tents at Sarchu.
Day 06 : Sarchu - Leh
Drive for about 12 hrs, a distance of about 220 kms over Tanglang-la (5350 Mts.) the second highest road in the world and Lachlang-la (5065 Mts.). Dinner & overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
Day 07 : Leh
Full day excursion to visit Thiksey Monastery it is quite interesting to visit the monastery early in the morning to see praying ceremony and visit one of the biggest monastery of Leh "Hemis". On the way back visit Shey Palace. Afternoon by foot to visit King’s Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, and Shankar Gompa. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 : Leh – Khardungla – Leh
Morning drive to Khardungala Top (5600 mts), the World highest motorable road. It gives a fantastic view of the Leh valley and the Nubra valley on the other side. Late afternoon back to your hotel. Evening free for shopping & others. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 : Leh – Delhi - Chandigarh
Morning after breakfast departs to Leh Airport to catch a flight back to your own destination with happy & memorable memories of the “Roof Top of the World.”
